The Royal Flying Doctor Service is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world, providing extensive primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to Australian’s over an area of 7.69 million square kilometres.
Our mission
Delivering 24-hour emergency aeromedical care and fly-in primary health care services across remote Australia remains at our core nearly 90 years since the first flight. This essential emergency service provides assurance to people living, working and travelling in rural and remote Australia, where there are often few other health services available.
